I started making changes to my blog last week, if you did not notice I have changed the name to my blog it's now called EVERYDAY INSPIRED. I started with a new banner, and I will be working on changing the items on my sidebars so that the blog will be easier to navigate. Watch for new changes every week.

Coming soon, the Creative Business - Quick Tip. Ideas you can use for your creative art business. If you have any ideas you want to share, email me at additionsstyleblog@gmail.com. As the source of the tip I will include your name, and your shop and blog links to the post.

I am thrilled that guest blogger Pam Moore will be back with another series of post's about planning, preparing, and packing for a trip. Look for her first post next week.

As I mentioned last week, this month is going to have a travel theme. Last Tuesday's post was about Summer Vacation. Take a moment to check it out I would love to know what you have planned this summer.

I started taking pictures with my new background last week, what do you think? I am hoping with the new lighter more neutral background I may get in more treasuries, and a few more features.

PERSONAL NOTE

I am looking forward to Thanksgiving this week, for the first time in a long time it is going to be just me, my husband, my daughter, and our dogs of course, and we have decided to have a non-traditional Thanksgiving, so no Turkey. I am looking forward to cooking some of our family favorites, and my daughter is going to a bake pie and cookies.

My husband gets home Tuesday after being on a 3 week long business trip and we have missed him a lot! I know he can't wait to be home and relax and we are all looking froward to a nice weekend hanging out as a family.

I am so happy I placed my last supply order, and when everything arrives I will have everything I need to keep up my inventory for the holidays.

Business is still pretty slow in my Etsy and 1000 Markets shop, and I am looking forward to things starting to pick up now that it's November. I have been looking for new avenues to market my jewelry, that won't take a lot of time. Anyone have any idea they want to share?

I created new items last week, rings, hair pins, and cuff links that I am really excited about. They will be a nice additions to my shop for the holidays. I will start posting them throughout the week, so check them out.

I still can't believe I am going to have a piece of my jewelry published in a book. It's currently printed in English and Japanese with more countries to follow. You can check out the book on the publishers website it's called 1000 Ideas for Creative Reuse. It's scheduled to be released on November 1.

On my trip to Minneapolis last week I went to my favorite recycled hardware shop and loaded up on all kinds of goodies. I will be posting new items in my Etsy shop all week, so check it out and see what's new.

I have increased the number of items on sale for 15% off in my shop, check it out maybe your favorite pieces is now on sale. Also, don't forget Flat Fee Shipping all the time - order as many pieces as you want and they all ship for $3 within the US and $4 international.

It was a good week in my shop, I had a few sales and spent some time creating new pieces. I did not get as many items posted last week as planned, but this week I will be adding a new item everyday.

The hardest and most time consuming part of adding a new item is taking pictures. You have to take them at different angles, try to make them interesting, and then still work with them on the computer.

I spent time this weekend taking several pictures, so I have enough pictures ready to list everyday, giving me time this week to work on my inventory for a show I have coming up on 10/18 and another on 11/21.
