Your Dream Business

When you close your eyes what does your dream business look like?

I always thought I wanted my business to be big with employees and I need to do is run things, but when I close my eyes these days I see myself creating my inventory and running my business with just a couple of people.

I will never be a big company or make tons of money, but now my goal is to make enough money to enjoy life and the creative process.

When was the last time you closed your eyes to visualize what your dream business looks like.

Success requires dreaming, planning, and a lot of hard work. Visualizing your dream business will guide you to setting your goals, making plans, and deciding how much time and money to invest your business.

July is a great time to regroup. If you need to start over or add a few new ideas, then today is the day to make sure you are living your dream business.

What Word is Going to Inspire You in 2013?

I have been working on my plan for the new year and I realized that there was a theme that described the direction I want to take my business this year.

That word is:
GROWTH

I have decide that GROWTH is going to be my personal theme word for 2013. I have added it to my 2013 vision plan and I will incorporate it into my daily to-do-list, so as I set goals they will encourage me to grow my business.

A New Season

It's always a little exciting when the fall and holiday season start.  This is the time of year I like to start new things and challenge myself to reach new goals.

I am thrilled to share with you a few changes that will be happening over the next few months. 

♦ I am excited to announce that I have added 2 new regular blog post contributors. 

• Kelly from The Kelly Tang blog will be doing a monthly post about fashion. 

• Kim from Kzdesign will share a DIY tutorial with you twice a month. 

• Pam from Open Space will be back doing a monthly post with tips to simplify your work and life.

10 Random Thing to Know about Me

Every month I do a posts called Check This Out as a way for each of us to get to know a little about ourselves and our businesses.

Today I thought I would share a little more about myself so you can get to know me a little better.

~ I enjoy cooking and creating interesting meals
~ I am addicted to books on CD.  I listen to them everyday
~ I love magazines of all kinds, but especially art magazines
~ I like to sew, but I don't do it as often as I want
~ I love to travel by car
~ I hate to clean the house and I only do it when I have to
~ Creating is part of me, it's what makes me happy
~ I love books, I have almost 200 books in my collection
~ I like action movies
~ Fall is my favorite time of year
