I could never imagine using a book to create art since I'm a crazy bookoholic, but there are some amazing artists who use books as their medium and create art that is visually stunning. Enjoy this collection of unique book sculptures.

    I'd never hurt a book but having in mind how many of them are simply thrown away I'd rather give them second life as art. And those are some stunning examples!

    What amazing imaginations ! And what incredible talents. The first photo I thought the art had been created with blocks of wood and then I realized; "OMG they are books!" They're all astounding!

    Wow! Those are all really amazing! I bought some old butterfly books a while back, with the intent to take the bookplates out and frame them, but then I changed my mind because I didn't have the heart to cut the books up! Those really are amazing though. ;) xo!

    I just started tearing them apart, painting on them, cutting them, etc. It was an obstacle of the mind to not destroy a book, but these were the right ones to start with.

    Old books are so lovely--I love that octopus one, even though I know it's computer generated, and that mural is really impressive.
