Be Inspired

Words to Inspire
“Life is all about timing... the unreachable becomes reachable, the unavailable become available, the unattainable... attainable. Have the patience, wait it out It's all about timing.”
Stacey Charter

Idea to Inspire
When are working a big projects, or even daily projects you need to find ways to inject creativity breaks. Today I have some ideas to help you stay in a creative mood even when you are busy on another project.

If you have 5 - 10 minutes

Try doodling. Keep paper and a pencil or pen nearby so you can create quick and easy sketches. Doodles are little pieces of our subconscious they are unique to us and represent our own creativity.

Write a short poem. Sitting in a office waiting for an appointment try a Found Poem. They are easy and fun to do. You could also write about what is going on around you, and then use these poems as inspiration on your next project.

If you have 30 minutes

Write a letter to a friend. Pull out your nice stationary or create a fun card, and take a few minutes to reconnect with a old friend.

If you have 60 minutes

Take out some supplies and enjoy the time creating a project. Maybe try some new ideas you have been thinking about but never make time for.

Here are a few more posts about making time for art.

Photo's to Inspire

Take a Field Trip

Sometimes you need a break from the everyday grind. It's necessary to find ways to take breaks, get out, and be inspired.

Why not take a field trip.

Visit a park and explore nature. Their is so much to see and enjoy outdoors.

Check out a new exhibit at your museum or a gallery.

Go to the library and pull out a variety of art books, spend the afternoon looking at pictures and reading about artists.

How about a online field trip. Take an hour or two and read all your favorite blogs, look at websites, find new sites to add to you bookmarks for future inspiration.

Want more ideas check out these posts:

Taking a field trip is a great way to recharge, if you've had a long day, can't seem to get things done, or just need a break.

What kind of field trip do you want to have?
