Music Inspiration

I picked up my daughter from college last week (I can't believe how fast the year went), and I let her drive home. Since she drove she had to listen to music. I personally prefer to listen to a book or even ride quietly when I travel.

I figured since I did not have to drive that I would take the time to come up with new ideas and plan out my schedule for the next few weeks.

I realized that listening to music does not really inspire me. I sat in the car for a couple of hours and came up with no ideas, except the idea for this post.

I thought about it and I can't think of any type of music that has really got my creative juices flowing.

So here's a question for you:

Everyone is Creative

It really drives me crazy when people say "your so creative, I don't have a creative bone in my body". My response is always you are creative and you can create whatever you want.

I believe every person is creative in their own way. It could be through art, cooking, putting together presentations, working with kids. There are so many ways to express your creativity you just have to choose to let it be part of your everyday life.

I also think you can learn to express yourself creatively. Talking classes, reading, and experimenting with different mediums, gives you the skills you need to get the creative juices flowing.

So here is a question for you:

Is creativity something only certain people have, something that is internal, or can you learn to be creative?
