  1. Hi everyone,

My family and I are headed to New York City for my Stepson's college graduation. We are hopping in our car and headed out there on Friday. I can't believe how grown up he is now, and I am so proud of him! We always enjoy our trip to the Big Apple.

December 16 is the last day I will be shipping from my Etsy Shop. All orders need to be placed before 5 PM. I will not start shipping again until 12/26.

I have big plans in the works for this blog in 2011, stay tuned for more information. I look forward to having you join me on the journey.

  2. Hi. Thanks for suggesting this idea. Sharing is great.

I am a full-time working mom with two kids but still enjoy making bags. I started to sew from the age of 10 and I always enjoy it. I started to make bags when I went to the university.

I plan to fill my Etsy Shop with new bags every week. Please visit my Blog or my Etsy Shop to see what's in store.

My ultimate goal for my Etsy Shop is to have at least 2 pages of items for my customers. I wish I could have more choices for them and hope they will come back again and again. I am working hard to achieve this goal. Please you check out my Etsy Shop sometime later. :)

  5. Hi! I love sharing! Thanks for the invite. :)

In my blog I sometimes post letters I've written to companies regarding their environmental practices and their replies: here's one exchange I had with Keebler.

We're off to visit the in-laws this Saturday for two weeks. I love my in-laws!!

My Etsy shop is a couple of months old and my sales are recently picking up (yay!). I have a lot of interest and requests for custom items (specialized science books for babies!), and I'm not sure how to manage this. I feel funny asking customers to pay for something before I make it, and once something is made I want the world to see it but if the title says "reserved for" then that might be a turn-off. I just feel like I'm doing things in the wrong order and there must be a better way! But I'm mostly just really happy that people want what I'm making. :) Any thoughts?

    Thanks again!
