Be Inspired - Suitcase

Words to Inspire

“It's great to just disappear, grab a suitcase, switch the answering machine on and just go somewhere else.”
Dido Armstrong

Idea to Inspire

Take a few minutes this week and pack a art kit with some simple supplies. You can pick it up and take it with you on vacation, an outing in the park, or when ever you need a few minutes of creative rejuvenation outside.

Photo's to Inspire

Every vacation needs a suitcase and these Flickr artists have taken the suitcase and turned it into inspiring art.

  2. Great photos!

I love old suitcases and am always on the hunt for them at antique and thrift stores. They are great for decorating and storage.

  3. What beautiful photos! I have two antique leather round traincases and a few vintage hatboxes that I treasure. I'm so ready for a vacation!

  4. I have seen enough luggage and suitcases these last days due to relocation and in general throughout my life...I even had this inspiration and your post kind of clicked with it. A room in someone's house who travels a lot furnished with luggage and suitcases such as the ones in the pictures, ready to go with hand written labels or typed with a typing machine. All placed on bookshelves specifically designed to keep the weight, size etc. Or if you don't travel keep your memoirs and all kinds of stuff. By doing this you free up space in the rest of the house (which is my DREAM)
