It's a new year, and we have new goals and resolutions that we set for ourselves. Did you know there is one key ingredient to achieving your goals and forming new habits.
That ingredient is believing change is possible.
Believing you can have a successful business, take on new tasks, or form a new habit is what will make the difference in starting something and giving up after a couple of months.
Once you envision what you want and start making steps toward achieving it, believing in yourself and your ability is what will make the changes you need for success a permeant part of your lifestyle.
Add in group accountability and your success level rises. Having that group support to help you stick with your goals, will also help new habits form.
The more positive reenforcement you incorporate into your life, the greater chance you have to reaching your goals.
Believe in yourself, and in no time you will be exactly where you want to be in your life.
Are you planning big changes in your business and life in 2014?
Believe is such a strong word and concept. Believing really does work! This is a technique I will be using throughout 2014 to reach all my goals.
ReplyDeleteIt DOES make such a difference!
ReplyDeleteThe hard part is when you believe and the change is slow to happen.
Finding the strength to KEEP believing, that is the hard part.
Having family members who believe in me and my dreams makes all the difference. When belief in myself wanes, they are there to encourage me. Anything you want to do starts with believing you can do it.
ReplyDeleteGreat post Valerie!
Great post. Self-doubt is perhaps my biggest roadblock.
ReplyDeleteso right! self-doubt is debilitating! believing you can do it keeps you focused on the task!
ReplyDeleteSometimes I'm really bad at doubting myself, and I love the part you mentioned about group accountability. =0)
ReplyDeleteI am quietly working on a big change right now. Something off Etsy. Thank you for this, it came at the perfect time. :)
ReplyDeleteI'm going to need a lot of "Believing" this year, lol :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for your inspiration, cheers, T. :)
I agree with you. Taking the first step and saturating yourself in the belief- so important.
ReplyDeleteBig changes are planned for this year, definitely and taking steps in that direction every day. Thanks for the post!
I'm trying to bring a lot of cohesiveness in my jewelry business this year! Staying focussed is what I MUST do. I do believe I am good in what i do, I just need to give my BEST!
