  4. I love the top one for all it's color and variety. We have a wall in our master that I've been wanting to do something like this. Right now I just have a mirror and a couple of pictures but it's too boring for me. Definitely going to pin this - thanks for sharing!

  5. They are all pretty cool. But after living on the west coast for over 20 years, under the threat of earthquakes, I think twice on what I hang on the wall over my bed. I was in SF for the 1989 quake and up to that point, had a heavy framed picture above the bed which was knocked sideways but didn't fall. Nevertheless, that picture was removed immediately and placed elsewhere, and a light tapestry hung in it's place.

  6. I've always loved the idea of displaying different sized frames on a shelf! One of these days I'll implement it!

  7. I do a similar method to the template. I arrange everything on the floor first to see how I like it, and then I start the arrangement with the biggest piece.

I love the arrangement with the horizontal line of empty space in the middle! You don't see that one too often.

  8. What a great round up of ideas! The past couple months, I've started experimenting with more creative photo displays for some of my new photography. It's fun taking these new leaps.

  9. I've always loved the look of a wall crowded with photos in asymmetrical patterns. I really want to do this on our stairwell. Thanks for the inspiration!

  10. Love the paper template idea. So much more efficient than pounding a nail in the wall and then having to reposition it, creating yet another small hole in the drywall.

  11. I love the way a grouping looks on the wall, especially when it is all family photos!
