Be Inspired - Shells

Words to Inspire

“Apparent failure may hold in its rough shell the germs of a success that will blossom in time, and bear fruit throughout eternity.”

Idea to Inspire

Do you have a shell collection? Create a mosaic inspired by the colors, textures, and shapes of your shells or even stones. Don't glue them down, just keep moving them around until you feel inspired to work.

Photos to Inspire

The ocean is full of beauty that comes in an array of colors, textures, and shapes. These photos give you a taste of what you can find. Be Inspired.

  5. So Cool :)

It is definitely that time of year for shell shots :)

I was taking some individual shell photos a few weeks ago, they have such amazing texture and colorations when you look at they separately and together :)

Thanks for sharing and inspiring, cheers, T. :)

  6. I love how shells have this natural pattern to them. My turtle's shell has change so much as she sheds.

  8. I'm nuts about shells and love to look for them when I'm beachcombing. Some I keep, some I put in the box to use in a craft project. One of my friends brought me back a huge sack of gorgeous shells from Sanibel Island!! So that's pretty cool.

  9. Shells are like UFOs from undersea, aren't they! I love how different each is!

  10. Shells are beautiful and much like snowflakes - no two are identical.
I do have some shells scattered around my home - some were gathered along an ocean's shoreline while others came from shops just because I feel in love with the unique beauty of the shell.
