Motivation Monday

When you not feeling motivated or getting much done, try to the 15 minute plan.

Block out 15 minutes everyday to dedicate to a project. If you have more then one project then add more 15 minutes blocks for all your projects.

This plan works well if you have a big project or a project that you are having trouble getting started. It will keep you on track, so you can focus on getting your project done.

As your project progresses you can make your blocked out times longer until it's complete. Dedicating a small part of your day to your projects will motivate you to do more.

Have any big project you are having trouble getting started?

  1. Great tip! I like to approach unpleasant, tedious tasks this way and usually get more done than the time I allot to it! ~val

  2. That's a good plan, I may have to employ it myself for writing... if I'm not feeling inspired, I should make myself at least TRY to write for fifteen minutes. ;) Thanks!

  3. This is a great idea! It is a small enough time frame to not interrupt the day, but just enough time to feel like you're accomplishing something! Thanks for sharing :)
