Three Questions - Share Your Thoughts

Today I have 3 questions about going green answer one or all three.  I hope these questions will help us to start a conversation.  Share your thoughts and ideas!

Do you practice any green ideas in your work area?

Is reducing waste important to you?

Is buying or using things that are recycled important to you?

Have a idea for going green in your work area you want to share?  We would love to hear it.

  1. Both numbers two and three are very important to me! Like everyone says, we've only got one earth, and we need to do all that we can to treat it with respect. I try my best to do so. :)

  2. Hi Taylor, We do need to do all we can to take care of our earth I agree. What do you do to be green?

  3. Well... for one thing, Mom buys recycled paper towels and toilet paper (she just wrote about it on her blog, Inspiration-Earth.blogspot.com). We also compost, recycle, and for several years we went on trash walks and picked up roadside trash all around our neighborhood. Not to mention we eat organic and use eco-friendly dishwashing liquid and laundry soap... we've been changing little by little for years, not only for the earth but because most of this stuff is actually healthier for us as well. :) We're really extreme in our diet- we're vegans (not raw at this point, but that may change!) and we eat all organic, for starters. So it's not too hard to be extremely green at the same time!

  4. Oh boy, I answer yes to all three, but I won't go into detail on each or this comment will be miles long! ;) I'll go with #1 ~ I've decided that everything in my shop must be eco friendly in some way. My clipboards are made from recycled materials and often I use recycled scrapbook paper. All of my Inspiration Earth products are 100% safe, and I have very strict standards, no gray areas for me! All of my recently added doll clothes are made from recycled clothes or fabrics. In fact it's time for another trip to the local thrift shop... ;)I love this post, great way to get people thinking! :)

  5. Taylor, wow that is great! I am not their yet, but I am working on being as eco-friendly as you. I try to buy as much organic food as possible, and eco products whenever I can, but reading about everything you do makes me want to work harder, so thanks for sharing. Great link too!

Simply Smitten, you too are doing lots of very cool things with your business to be eco-friendly. Thanks for sharing!

  6. I'm sure you'll get there if you keep working at it! It sounds like you already do a bunch of stuff- organic food, eco products, all good!

Can't wait to see your next post!
