  1. Guess I'll start this off!

My current business goal is to get into more b&m shops and do less craft and art shows

I'm reading The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, haven't seen the movie so no spoilers please!

I make jewelry from all kinds of recycled finds, mostly compupter parts, and blog about them and my vintage shopping addiction at http://periwinkledzyns.blogspot.com/

Currently I'm working with credit cards for a new jewelry line and will be revealing them soon!

  2. Morning~

I just finished Jodi Picoult's latest book Sing You Home, also reading Wayne Dyer's Being in Balance.

My current business goal is to make steady sales, nothing crazy or overwhelming, just regular and steady.

I'm starting a new (at least weekly) feature on my blog ~ easy eco tips for those who'd love to make a difference, but aren't quite sure where to start. http://inspiration-earth.blogspot.com/2011/03/lets-talk-trash.html

    Have a great day! :)

  4. In my shop, I'm going to be focusing mostly on my maps for a while - I need to build up a good base of cities and countries, so if anyone has suggestions for what should come next, feel free to message me via my blog http://kzieglerdesign.blogspot.com

Today was my first day setting an alarm to wake up - I need more time in the mornings! So much to do!

I'm in the process of designing a new coffee table/bookshelf, with possibly matching night stands for my room :D

My buisness goals for FancieStrands are to get my shop name out to my targeted audience.

    I love coffee by the way! {drinking some right now- Mocha}

I have a giveaway going on my blog-

  6. Hello!

My current business goal is to add atleast 20 more pieces of jewelry on my online studio by April 5, and get more regular sales. Working on my creative juices regularly.

I usually feel mighty uppity after reading posts at Everyday Inspired and Bright Bazaar. Not that other bloggers are not inspiring.....there are a host of them as well.

I am excited about my younger daughter turning 2 this May. A big birthday bash is being planned out.

Thank you and enjoy the rest of the week...well weekend is almost there.

I too have plans for my business and in the process of working on a aggressive plan for April to get more sales!

My daughter is turning 18 this Sunday. I have no idea where the time has gone, I can't believe she is all grown up.

I am really excited, my sister is in town for the weekend, then on Monday my sister, daughter, and 2 of her friends will be traveling by car to hang out in Minneapolis for Spring break.

  9. Hi! I've got three things to share...

    (1) I just started "The Da Vinci Code" by Dan Brown... I read and enjoyed "The Lost Symbol", so Mom suggested I try "The Da Vinci Code". Let's see what I think!

    (2) I've started selling friendship bracelets in my Etsy shop to raise a little money for Japan... I'm looking forward to selling them! My shop is TheForestFaery.etsy.com, if you're interested in buying any (hint hint wink!).

    (3) I'm having my first blog giveaway! If you're interested in entering to win a framed photograph, some friendship bracelets and more, stop by here to enter!

  10. Hi there,
I guess I'm posting, because one of my goals is to become more social on-line. My immediate goal is to use up all the lucite flower beads I bought last year and haven't used yet. Other goals are to get involved in craft shows this summer and to somehow get sales in my Zibbet shop. Someone had posted that they are reading a Wayne Dyer book. So am I, I'm reading You'll See It When you belive it. Well that's it. Now I am off to read the other comments and maybe get to know some new on-line crafty friends.

  11. Reads- right now rereading The Poisonwood Bible. I read it a long time ago and remembered loving it, but not why. So, I picked it up again and it is absolutely my favorite book ever! Looks like some of you are reading some great things too- loved "The Girl with.." series- so hooking. I've read all of Jodi P.'s books but didn't know she had a new one out yet- I'll have to check it out!

In terms of business, I've been doing SO much lately. You can check it all out here and and here

    Thanks for the opportunity Valerie!

  12. It is neat to read a little about everyone here. Thanks for the book suggestions, I have been wanting to read a good one, but get so overwhelmed when I try to pick one.
Three things...well, that was first, I have trouble picking books to read and really want to read a good one now. I go through reading spurts and now is time for a spurt, with no book yet.

Next thing - A question for guidance. I am starting a new blog series, where I share with readers what I have seen on my walks. originally to encourage me to actually go for walks, but also to share virtual walks through shops, or walks through ideas, etc. I wanted to call it "Walk with me Wednesdays" but hubby says it should be "Walking Wednesdays". What do you think?

Third thing? I can't seem to get through a recent post I am trying to write...about procrastination...go figure.

  13. Thank you so much everyone, for sharing today! I love connecting with everyone in our blogging community.

Raige - I love the title "Walk with me Wednesdays"!

  14. This is such a great idea - it's fun reading about everyone.

Three things ... well, one goal is to somehow get more sales online. At present I haven't had many sales. My second goal is to start knitting non-winter related items for my shop. So I'm looking at knitting some bags, as a break from scarves and gloves.

An event I'm excited about - my husband and I are planning a travelling holiday in August! We are not 100% sure where yet, except that it will be in Asia. Now that will be fun :-)

  15. Raige - maybe "walking on wednesdays"? 'walk with me wednesdays' seems a bit odd phraseology to me and its also a bit long. but i love the idea for the blog!

  16. Additions and kziegler - thank you so much for your input! I love the "walking on Wednesdays" title. That does roll off the tongue much easier.

First one was supposed to be last Wednesday, but that procrastination bug was lingering. still working on that procrastination post as well.
    thanks again. :)
