Motivation Monday

Do you wake up on Mondays and think I Hate Mondays?

Monday is usually not considered the best day of the week, so if you wake up dreading Monday here are a few ideas to make getting up on Monday a treat.

Use Mondays to:

Start new projects that you are excited about
Make it a create only day
Work only on projects you enjoy
Get up a little later and take some time to yourself before you start working
If it's a really tough morning consider taking the day off and regroup for the rest of the week

When you wake up knowing that its going to be a great day, no matter what day of the week it is, think how motivated you will be to get things done.

Do you love Monday?

  1. The good thing about Mondays is that I seem to have the most energy and patience - it's all downhill from there :)

  2. Monday's are not bad for me. I usually find Wednesday's to be the day I don't care for much! Thanks for the tips, they are great, maybe I'll move them to Wednesdays!!

  3. Mondays are usually a little slow out of the gate after the weekend, but once I'm up and moving I feel good!

I like the idea of the day off though! ;-)

  4. I don't work Mondays, so I have the typical "Sunday" feelings - sad that the weekend is ending, not exactly looking forward to work.

  5. I sort of look forward to Mondays because my husband leaves for work, LOL! I miss him and sooooooooo need a break by Friday, but by Sunday I get tired of the extra man making extra mess.

  6. I have to admit I look forward to Mondays. But then my workplace is at home and I make myself take the weekend off from creating art for my shop to concentrate on other areas of my life. So by Monday I am cranking to get back into my studio! x Julie

  7. I am not a big monday fan at all... but I usually spend a few extra minutes in bed giving myself a pep talk and sometimes that works :)
I love your tips though.... great ideas!
