Vacation Break

It has been a LONG COLD winter here in Chicagoland. Here we are at the beginning of April and it still has not been warm enough to go outside without a coat.



My husband and I decided to take a little mini vacation, and are headed to the warmer temps of Florida for a few days. 

I have been looking forward to this trip for weeks. I can't wait to wear my short sleeve shirts, sandals, and NO coat.


This means I will be taking a mini break from blogging. Watch out for new posts starting the week of  April 21.

Hopefully when I back it will be warm and things will be turning green.

    Have a lovely trip. Hopefully you'll have some sunshine during your mini vacation - unfortunately right now Florida's West coast is under gray skies and it has been raining. But this is Florida, so tomorrow it could well be a clear blue sky, lots of sun and tempts close to 90. :)
    But even a warm, rainy day would be better than the "Ice Palace" pictured in your post. :D
