I get very inspired when I see other peoples craft spaces. I have a dream that one day I will have a nice large space with a widow and a window seat. So until then I just admire all the lovely spaces that other people have created.
Today I have a collection of spaces that will inspire.
I love the idea of a window seat. My ideal space would have plenty of display shelves, ample counterspace, a sink!, light streaming in the windows, space for supplies to get to them easily, and a furry companion. Oh, a tea kettle and supplies would be the icing on the cake.
Love, love, love the bright kids' space! And that sunny corner in light blue would be my dream space (with a HUGE cutting area island with under counter storage and a wall of shelving to store fabric and supplies and inspirational art).
I love all the spaces you shared! Our house is small and so is my studio space but sometimes I would like to hang cabinets and build counter tops in here so I had a better space with more storage to work in... however technically this is the second bedroom of the house, however small... so I hate to make such a change if we aren't sure that we're going to stay here forever... Love the idea of a window seat, I've always wanted a room big enough for a day bed so I could hang one of those cute nets from the ceiling, and have tons of throw pillows on the bed so I could lounge and read, or spread out magazines or even take a nap if I wanted...
Right now my space is in total unorganized chaos. I desperately need a room make over and along with it, a bigger room. I have too many different interests all jumbled up in one space - knitting, crocheting, embroidery work, sewing, painting, jewelry making and more. My hubby once told me I have an addiction to crafts and that a craft store to me is like a liquor store is to an alcoholic. I think he's right. :D

ReplyDeleteI hope to show my craft space when it's done! I'm aiming for simple, functional, white and bright :)
ReplyDeleteLove the top shot! That's my kind of space...easy to work in.
ReplyDeleteI've seen some great spaces on Pinterest. I love my craft room but it'd be better with more space.

ReplyDeleteWow, the day when my craft space looked so neat, tidy, clean and trimmed was the day I got it.

ReplyDeleteI'm going for the organized chaos look, but have miles to go!
ReplyDeleteI'm still working on the redo but the one thing I really wanted was cabinets with glass doors to store my fabric.
