How Do You Like to Chill Out?

As a workaholic I don't have a lot of down time. Well maybe I should rephrase that, I don't normally take much time off.

When I do take time off I love to read, relax, and have a glass of wine.

As Spring is slowly trying to makes it's way to the Midwest, I find that I want to have a little more time off relaxing and enjoy the warmth of Spring.

Hanging outside and reading is one of my favorite ways to chill out. This time of year I find myself taking more time off just to sit outside to clear my mind and regroup.

When you need to chill out, what do you like to do?

  1. I don't take a lot of time off either. I like to create things just for me in my time off!

  2. We love our backyard. Just sitting out with a beverage, tinkering in our garden boxes. We have tons of birds that visit our yard and it's so fun to just sit and watch them.

  3. I love to watch indie or foreign films on demand. The funny thing is I find myself stopping the movies half way through to go do more work. Then I finish the movie later. Sitting still is not my forte.

  6. I'm a workaholic as well. The good news is that I enjoy what I do. Since we moved to Milwaukee, one of my favorite things to do is explore new areas of the city. I love to take pictures and try new restaurants.

  7. Taking time off is SO hard! I do enjoy a hot bath and a glass of wine though :)
And during the summer, the best place to relax is on the river in an air boat...can't wait!

  8. Oh so many ways to unwind. A nice long walk along the seashore, a great book (on a cold day it's hard to beat a fire in the fireplace, a cup of hot chocolate and a really good read), on a hot summer's day a tall glass of fresh lemonade (squeezed from real lemons)day-dreaming and rocking in a rocking chair on the front porch.
