Words to Inspire
“As artists, the pleasure is to really have your work resonate and mean something. Art takes its inspiration from reality.”

Idea to Inspire
Next time you have the opportunity to visit a city, enjoy your visits to the museum, galleries, and shows, and don't forget to check out all the art on the street. You will be amazed how inspiring it can be.

I live in an area where street art is not common, but when I get to the city I am always amazed by the talent of street artists. Since I don't have the opportunity to see street art all the time, I look at streetartutopia.com to see all the new pieces being created. Today I am sharing a few of my favorites to inspire you. If you missed the post I did last year about street art last year, click here to see more cool art.
We are fortunate enough to have a ton of murals around the city. I've often thought of doing a post about them, but somehow never have my camera ready when I see one!
ReplyDeleteExtremely cool!!
ReplyDeleteLove the zippered tree.

ReplyDeleteAmazing street art and amazing artists. I'll have to keep my eyes open and hopefully I'll find some street art in my own town. :)

People's creativity never ceases to amaze me. The zipper is priceless!
ReplyDeleteWonderful examples ♥ We have murals and street art here in this small city, it was a surprise to see it the first time and the new ones every so often.
ReplyDeleteThose are incredible! Unfortunately there is next to none of streetart in our small town - it's a conservative community.
ReplyDeleteThese are amazing! I love the zipper and the face with the greenery hair. There is a street art museum in Portsmouth, NH which is really cool. The city actually commissioned artists for some great street art around the city!
ReplyDeleteI generally don't like street art but the photos you shared are extraordinary and show a deeper understanding of how street art should look like. I love the second one!
