Facebook is Changing Again

Have you switched to the new Facebook timeline format for your business page?

I recently converted mine, and I realized there are several steps to setting up a good page. Before I set up my page a read a few blog posts so I would do it correctly and get the most out of my setup.

On March 30, all Facebook business pages will be changed to the timeline format. Check out these links to help you set up your page.

  1. I have toured mine but had not really looked into what's involved. Yet again, Miss Valerie, you are a God send! xoxo

    1. I know what you mean Sonya, I am still trying to figure things out. The Handmadeology link is full of great information.

  4. I haven't switched yet. I'll wait until they make me. There are some things I love to update and some things I just can't move on to the new. Cell phones are one thing I don't like to change and my Facebook is another. I have trouble navigating everyone's new look. I couldn't figure out how to like someones fan page just this morning. I felt like such a moron. A few weeks ago I couldn't find the friends list or photos on a friends profile. What can I say, I'm challenged.

    1. It does take some time to figure out the new timeline format Courtney Jo, but after a few times looking at a page it kind of makes sense. I hope the links make the change a little easier.

  5. I can't stand Facebook and dumped it awhile back. I know it was good for my business... not so good for me. ;) I do hope that the new version works out great for you though! :)

    1. Thanks Melinda. I only post a few times a week so I have learned to appreciate it for my business. Well see if the new changes help.

  6. Ek, I was dreading this. Thanks for the resources though, I know it's something that needs to be done. I'm just so sick of fb with it's constant switches and I've never found it to be very user friendly or intuitive for setting things. up. Off to go do some reading I suppose.

    1. I agree Nancy, the constant changes are very annoying. As soon as I learn one thing they change it to something else. I hope this is it for awhile. I hope the links help you figure things out.

  7. We are on the same wavelength! I just started updating the new timeline page, I think its great, even though it can be a bit annoying doing something new. But I like how photo-centric it is!
