Idea to Inspire
Find a railroad in your area and let the tracks inspire you. Take a walk next to the tracks, take pictures, and collect things you find.

ReplyDeleteI love the architecture and the solemnity of these photos! Such a beautiful inspirational Fall feel! Thanks!
ReplyDeleteWow....some of those photos are really wonderful! We've got so many tracks here in Baltimore...but I'm afraid nothing quite as lovely as these. I'll have to consider it a challenge to hunt a good spot:)
ReplyDeleteWow! Amazing photos; the colors are so vibrant. I wish I could master photography at this level. Thanks for sharing. Cheers!

Stunning photos!
ReplyDeleteGlorious!
ReplyDeleteThey're so dramatic and moody; almost as monuments to another era. Great selection!
ReplyDeleteI love old train tracks! I live near Santa Cruz that has this big ol nasty train track through the boardwalk--and these photos remind me of my childhood where we'd walk across this bridge over this patch of beach when the tide was going in. I mean it was covered in trash but still good memories...
ReplyDeleteBreathtaking photos. I believe they can influence even the skeptic who hates traveling. And Tom Krause is right - what he said reminds me this thought - "If you only read the books that everyone else is reading, you can only think what everyone else is thinking."
ReplyDeleteI wish we could remember and use all the right quotes for when we need them!
How neat! These are all equally amazing! These photographers have such an amazing eye. ~Val
