The next day I went out and bought tools, supplies, and lots of beads, That day I started making jewelry and haven't stopped since.
That earring making class was my "Aha" moment.
At that time in my life I needed to find a creative outlet, and doing jewelry inspired me in many ways. Still today creating jewelry inspires me, and I feel so lucky to have found what makes my creative spirit soar.
What was your "Aha" moment?
My Aha moment was a trip to the craft store...not quite sure what I was going to pick up. I ended up with some beads, beading wire, clasps and a crimping tool. Then I was hooked!!! ~Val
ReplyDeleteAfter years of making ordinary beaded jewelry I made a lanyard for my work pass out of resistors and wore it to work. Eveyone commented "you should sell those!" one lady asked for matching earrings and the rest just happened...
ReplyDeleteMy moment was many years ago in sewing class in the 8th grade...just loved it and have sewed ever since!
