Creative Connections

Today I have a fun game of creative connections.  It takes a little thought and creativity to figure out the answer, so take your time and think outside the box.

Your task is to find a single word that links each group of the three words below.  For example the words "blood", "eye", and "light" can be connected with the word red (blood red, red-eye, and red light).

See if you can find the related word for these five groups of words.

1. doll, coat, hold

2. spot, tan, day

3. income, return, sales

4. stool, big, ball

5.  horse, spray, shore

    House, Sun, Tax, Foot, Sea. Are there others which would also work? Nice game post.

    I didn't get 4., and I saw New End Studio's answer to 1. before I guessed it. ;D

    Haha...I guess I don't have my thinking cap on this am. I got 2/3/and 5 same as above, but not 1 and 4.
