Take Time for Yourself

This is a stressful time of year and it is important to remember to take a few minutes for yourself every opportunity you can get.

Here are a few quick and easy ways to enjoy a few minutes of alone time and to pep you up to finish your day.

Flowers have the power to make you smile - put a bouquet in the room you spend the most time in

Take five minutes and enjoy a hot coco

Sit by a roaring fire - the sound of the crackling wood will help to reduce stress

Hit the snooze button - everyone could use a few extra minutes every now and then

Mellow out with some music - singing along relaxes the mind

Eat a clementine - the scent will boost your mood and it has vitamin C to keep you healthy

Buy a new lipstick

Enjoy a candy cane - the smell will pep you up and calm your stomach

What do you like to do to help you relax during this busy season?

  1. Great ideas...I love the music one...I've been doing that already. Throw a good vinyl on the old record player and just "chill" for a few...does wonders for my mood and my stress!

  2. These are great quick ways to boost a mood! Clementine really do work! And now they will be back in season, so I'm going to get some. Then when you smell the orange on your fingers throughout the day it's just refreshing. Thanks for the post!
