Just for Fun

It always amazes me how people get so into Halloween. In my neighborhood decorating for Halloween is a art form.

At our house we keep it simple, and pass out candy to all the trick or treaters.  I have some friends who decorate their house inside and out, bake things, and even dress up.

What is your favorite thing about Halloween?

Do you have Halloween traditions at your house?

  3. I miss dressing up the kids when they were little and going out with them. And OD-ing on candy, which I won't do any more.

  4. I stay at home to "hand out" and I love seeing the costumes...especially the super creative homemade ones. My kids know I love Reese's PB cups so they always save theirs for me. Gotta love that!

Thanks for stopping by my blog today!

    Happy Halloween!

  5. Favorite thing is the chocolate!
We keep it simple at our house as well. Just pass out candy. No dressing up.
Our neighborhood has a contest every year and the same family wins every year. They must have spent $5,000 on decorations for their yard.

  6. We typically decorate the house. I always dress up even if it's minimal. This year, I'm Lady Gaga with faux meat on my head!

  7. Halloweens a tough one, we live on this huge hill in a woodsy area--we haven't had trick or treaters in about 3 or 4 years, kinda sad. But that means I can go to parties without stressing about who's gonna treat the kids.
