It's the Season of Art

Not only is the holiday season getting under way, it's also the season of art. This is the time of year museums roll out major exhibitions, major show announce dates for new shows, art groups plan events, and there are lots of gallery openings.

Here in Chicago, we have an amazing art show called SOFA (Sculpture Objects Functional Art), it happens every November and it's the start of the Chicago art season.  When SOFA comes to town there are gallery openings all over town, and lots of fun art events.

This is the perfect time of year to check out art events in your area.  Find time to attend one or several of your local events.  What a great way to recharge your creative spirit.

    Sounds like fun! Its always interesting to see people use up all three dimensions in a gallery context.

    Ooh, I wish I could go see that! I'll definitely have to check out what's on display in my own town though because you're right about them hauling out the big guns this time of year.
