  1. Hi my name is Lori, I live in Georgia.

    1. My current business goal is to improve my photos in my Etsy shop. I'm about half way complete on this goal and it's already helped increase my sales.
    2. I love Fall! Unfortunately it has not fully arrived here in the South yet. So, to celebrate the First day of Autumn I featured photos of Georgia (at peak leaf season) in my most recent blog post: www.lorisglassworks.blogspot.com
    3. I'm currently on Medical LOA from my day job, so I've had a lot of time to add new items to my Etsy shop. I've been working on jewelry to compliment fall fashions; Copper and gemstones primarily.

I'm looking forward to getting to know other followers of this inspiring blog.

  2. Lori, your new pictures in your Etsy shop look great! I know what a big job it is to do that I have been working on mine all summer. I love fall too, it's my favorite season of the year. I live in the Midwest and we have had a few days in the 90's this week, but starting tomorrow it's going to be feeling like fall with temps in the 60's. I can't wait!

I have a few things to share:

I have spent the last 3 months working on the pictures in my Etsy shop, working on my tags and titles, and a general overhaul of policies, bio, and banner. I am very happy I only have 3 more items to change the pictures of and then I am done. Please check out my Etsy shop and let me know what you think of the new look.

I have decide to shut down my 1000 Markets shop. They were acquired by Bonanza.com and I just did not like the look of the site to set up a shop there. I have been debating if I want to open another shop someplace else or just have my Etsy shop and my Zibbet shop (which I am only keeping till the end of the year unless I start getting some sales). What other venue do you sell on? do you have good sales?

My daughter has been telling me for week that she was not going to homecoming this year (it's her senior year) and I told her she should go because it's her last year. Well she decided to go last week and I guess it was meant to be, she found the cutest dress for only $20 and shoes for $5. So now she is thrilled about going and I am sure she will have a lot of fun! I was so glad she decided to go I told her that she could have a after party at our house for her group. What was I thinking, now I am going to have a house full of teenagers after 11 pm until who knows what time.

  3. Hi everyone!

My name is Amber, I'm 23 and I live in Maine

    1) A business goal I have-I would like to be a freelance marketing consultant for small businesses, or maybe even start my own marketing firm, called Girl Entrepreneur.

    2) I'm diving into (yet again) Guerilla Marketing. Seriously, if you're into business, it's an all time MUST READ!

    3) A new project that I just started is my Girl Entrepreneur blog! It offers business tips for small businesses and entrepreneurs.
