Taking picutes has become my new job and it's a challenge. Feedback is great.

For the items currently in my shop I am only going to change the first shot, so I will still have the options to use the bright colored backgrounds.Additionsstylehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11527179044598322609noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8108074227915396313.post-30913599613672596472010-08-06T10:22:29.055-05:002010-08-06T10:22:29.055-05:00I like the wood type background- but what I really...I like the wood type background- but what I really like is that in the first two newer photos you've cropped them closer, so that the pieces fill more of the image. Also, I like that the angle of the jewelry is changing between photos, which makes it feel less like you just kept laying things down and taking a picture. Provides a little variation between pieces.Casey Sharpehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02440598700290044201noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8108074227915396313.post-67876318546557967102010-08-06T09:23:32.841-05:002010-08-06T09:23:32.841-05:00I think neutral back ground when you have a colorf...I think neutral back ground when you have a colorful piece and maybe a bit jazzy if you have a more plain piece. With the necklace that has the reddish back ground, I think that adds character to the necklace and compliments the piece.

It is a lot of hard work. I have been doing a lot with my shop too and hopefully it will all pay off. I guess the plan is to be persistent. Generally speaking, I think lighter things look better on brighter or darker backgrounds, and vice versa. That said, though, I think the new pics look great! Congrats on all you've accomplished with your shop.Chelseahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03311861424710606795noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8108074227915396313.post-12923305485294650652010-08-06T06:35:05.913-05:002010-08-06T06:35:05.913-05:00I think you're right (not that I'm an expe...I think you're right (not that I'm an expert...I'm always redoing my photos!) Especially the pieces with color really pop against the neutral background.

I do think, however, that all silver piece does look better against the blue! arrrgghh! see what I mean?
